Just some personal notes on creating diagrams, which may include screenshots.
- Don’t use Google Drawings; its lack of multiple-layer facilities makes it very hard to work with complex drawings. Use Draw.io instead.
- When creating screenshots on the Windows 10 PC, quit “the old-person viewing mode,” i.e., revert the magnification ratio of fonts and other screen elements to 100% in PC Settings -> System -> Display. Some apps’ windows look “fuzzy” without this step.
- When importing an image into Draw.io, shift+drag to maintain the original size and resolution.
